I've had a pretty good experience at Campus Village so far in my 1.5 years living here. It is a great community and really close to campus. However the proximity to campus leads to parking issues for big gamedays and holidays like Halloween. On Halloween, there was absolutely no where for me to park, and when I called the Community Assistant on Duty they couldn't really offer any help. I was forced to stay at a friends house because I couldn't find anywhere to park. Otherwise I've enjoyed staying at CV and really like the personal bathrooms and furnishings. However when I toured, I was told I would get a new Tempurpedic mattress, and I had an old, run-down mattress when I moved in. The office staff told me they were in the process of replacing them over the course of a few years, but basically that I was stuck with the nasty one that I got. The people who give the tours just need to be careful as to what they are saying to potential residents. My apartment was also not clean when I moved in, but they were able to get a cleaning staff in to clean it in about 4 days or so. Other than that, I really have no complaints and have overall loved living here.
